PLYWOODS 
 

Oswin ply is a high-tech ply, made out of specially selected high density hardwood veneer which is produced from the timber procured from the global market. Plywood is pressed under high temperature and pressure and is bonded with superior grade resin (conforming to IS 848:1974, manufactured at our own resin plant) resulting in a product which is dimensionally stable, structurally strong, exceptionally durable and has superior nail holding capacity.

 

The quality of timber used for the manufacture of our plywoods makes them resistant to fungus, rot and other destructive micro-organisms on its own. Oswin Ply goes through a special treatment using high quality preservatives. The use of these preservatives on our plywoods during hot pressing makes them free from termites and borers. This international antiborer technology has proven to be highly effective and is popular worldwide.

MARINE GRADE PLYWOODS  
OSWIN PLY - B.W.P. Grade comes with the prestigious Marine Grade IS 710:1976 certification. 90% of ISI the marked plywood comes with IS 303:1989 mark which is given to B.W.R (Boiling Water Resistant) grade plywood. IS 303:1989 B.W.R. grade plywood can withstand 8 hrs of boiling water, whereas OSWIN PLY - IS 710:1976 can withstand 108 hrs boiling water at 100ºC. It can also withstand all climatic variations and extreme weather changes. Stress relieving measures at every stage make them warp free and stable.

B.W.R GRADE PLYWOODS
BWR 303 grade, ISI marked Oswin Plywood is bonded with improved and indigenously compounded phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin under controlled temperature and pressure. The tough treatment given to this BWR GRADE PLYWOOD makes it sturdy in which the Veneers are treated with preservatives. Glue line is fused with chemicals for borer and termite protection, while the finished panels are treated with acid copper chrome and boric acid compound. OSWIN PLY BWR does not swell even after it is immersed in hot water for 8 hours boiling and therefore is ideal to be used at hot, humid and moist locations. The result is a high quality ply that can resist boiling water, cold water, climate variations including termite and borer attacks.

M.R. GRADE PLYWOODS 

OSWIN PLY - M.R.Grade is a changed version in the arena of old belief of so called commercial plywood. OSWIN PLY is bonded with superior grade melamine urea formaldehyde resin which gives our plywood enough strength to resist warm water upto 8 hrs. The performance suits to any interior creativity with painting, lamination and veneering works.

 
FILM FACE SHUTTERING PLY
OSWIN'S Film Face Shuttering ply is manufactured as per specifications laid down under IS 4990:1993. The plywoods are preservative treated by vacuum pressure impregnation process as per IS 5539:1969 with Copper Chrome Arsenic composition with a retention of not less than 12 Kg/cm2. OSWIN PLY brand shuttering plyoods can be repeatedly used over and over again. Reuse value is directly related to the care taken in handling, use, stripping and storing.
